Hey guys! As you may have noticed, I haven't really been able to work on this website, what with learning a new language and keeping up with school. I haven't even had much time to cook!
So, me and a few of my best friends started a new website, Muffinland, that will cover all things baking (though it will mostly consist of muffins), and since it'll be 3 of us blogging, I think we'll be able to make it work.
Here's the link! Please go check it out, leave a few comments, and like us on facebook!

Hey guys! Sorry for not posting anything on here for a while, I had forgotton about it and was pretty much completly occupied for a long time. But now, I will try to write on here a little more often!
Firstly, I've been wanting to start making a vlog on Youtube, just for fun. First I will be needing a small microphone because the one on my camera sucks, but after that, I'll try making a few vlogs and maybe a sketch I had the idea for a long, long time ago. I'll tell you all on here when I do.
Secondly, I am getting an xBox. So brace yourselves, endless game reviews may be coming.
And third, I made banana bread.
This banana bread is basically just an alcohol-free version of Brown Eyed Baker's Banana Foster Bread, which seems like it would be delicious if you are one who enjoys alcohol in your cake. I am not one of these people, but me and my whole family agreed that this bread is delicious. You may notice that we kept the bread in the pan, the reason being it was so crumbly that we couldn't take it out without the toppings falling off. The crumbs, however, did not last long in the pan.
Also: While writing this blog, I realized that I do enjoy writing the blogs, but the part I don't like is writing the recipe down. Then I have to write the step-by-step instruction thingy to avoid kitchen explosions everywhere. My solution is this: if you want the recipe, leave a comment below and I will write it down or contact you! ;)

I have some sort of fasination with little things you can have all to yourself. I like cupcakes better than cakes. I have about 5 mini pencil cases I bring to school every day. I have a miniature poodle (but I share him :P ) And I love baking dinner in these little dishes.
I also love colorful things. I have one pen that writes 10 different colors. My planner has a big fat white sheet glued on it where I doodle using only colored markers. My closet lookes like Nyan Cat's room.

Another year has gone by and the next one has come in! Years go by so fast...it can be sad sometimes. But you just have to think 'well, time flies when you're having fun!'. This year has held many great things for me, including starting this blog. While I haven't been too active with my posting, I plan to find more time for it. In fact, that's one of my resolutions! I guess the big highlight was our visit to Colorado and meeting up with all my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. Some of my cousins have gotten married, and it was great to meet their spouses and in some cases their cute little babies! I also got to see my parakeets who we left with my sisters during the move, one of which was very ill and died a few months later. Needless to say, I can't wait until the next reunion.
But the year always ends happy, because every year we make jyu-bako!

I've been meaning to post this for a very, VERY long time.
Since October 9th.
The day after my parents' anniversary.
Cheese chicken is one of their favorite meals. It's pan-fried chicken, with roasted onions and mayonnaise, topped with melted cheese. Drool *____*
The thing is, back when we lived in America, they used colby jack cheese on theirs, which is white cheese with little jalapeno peppers inside. Now that we moved, we can't get it anymore....

So, how was your Thanksgiving? We celebrated the Sunday before, because I have school on Thanksgiving week. :( I cooked dinner for my mom and dad and little brother this year. I cooked a wild rice stuffing and we roasted a chicken. On the side (or for me it was pretty much my main dish) I made cheesy mashed potatoes, mini biscuits, roasted veggies and more stuffing. And this apple pie, too. The whole thing took me all weekend but it was very fun to get to cook so many foods at once! In all the rush I didn't take too many pictures, only a little of this pie.

Yay! Winter is finally here! Winter is definitely my favorite season. I love anytime between the first of October to the day we take the christmas tree down. The days get shorter, and it gets colder....I just think it's so cozy for some reason. It just makes you want to cuddle up with someone. As long as you know that person.
Cuddling up with the wal-mart cashier guy is not a good idea. He can call up security in two seconds and then you'll be cuddling up with a bunch of muscly sweatheads which may involve pepper spray.
